Morphtxt Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use Morphtxt.
• Account Security: If you create an account, you are entirely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity under your account.

2. Nature of Service & AI Content Disclaimer

• AI-Generated Content: Morphtxt uses artificial intelligence to transcribe your speech and to restructure, summarise or reformat the resulting text.
• No Warranty of Accuracy: Transcripts and rewritten text may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations. Morphtxt does not guarantee the accuracy of any transcription or AI-processed text. Always review important text before sending or relying on it.

3. User Safety & Assumption of Risk

• Real-World Awareness: Do not operate the app while driving or in any situation where distraction could cause harm. Use the hands-free voice prompts where appropriate and remain fully aware of your surroundings at all times.
• Limitation of Liability: Morphtxt, its founders, & affiliates assume no responsibility or liability for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from your use of the Service.

4. Payments, Trial, & Referrals

• Free Trial: Every new account includes a 7-day free trial with full access to the Service.
• Pro Access: Morphtxt Pro is offered as a one-time payment of €9.99 for 12 months of access. It does not auto-renew — when your 12 months end, you simply choose whether to purchase again.
• Referral Bonus: When someone opens your share link and starts using Morphtxt, both of you receive 7 free days.
• Refunds: Except as required by local law, purchases are non-refundable, as users receive a full-functioning free trial before paying.

5. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: The Morphtxt name, logo, software, & design are the exclusive property of Morphtxt.
• Your Content: You retain all rights to the recordings and text you create. You grant us only the limited right to process them in order to provide the Service to you.
• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, & revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Record or transcribe conversations without the consent required by your local laws.
• Decompile or reverse engineer the Morphtxt application.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or servers of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

• "As-Is" Basis: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• Damages Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morphtxt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the app shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Changes to These Terms

• Right to Modify: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
• Notification: We will notify you of significant updates via an in-app notice or email.
• Acceptance: Your continued use of Morphtxt after an update constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland without regard to its conflict of law principles.
• Disputes: Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court in Ireland.
